Hi Guys
I have been a victim of job scam
Watch out many fake jobs are being posted on jobposting websites.
All they give you is a 800 number and nothing else.
they dont give you any of their office address or contact persons number.
They have their own websites like http://careerhotline.org/
If you call the 800-number -You are told that you must be available to work immediately within the next two weeks, followed by being informed that there is a guaranteed placement fee of $195.
They will ask you for your bank account information .Once you give them your bank info....YOU ARE SCREWED.
If you are a victim and need your money back. Contact your bank immediately.
I got my money back.
For more see one more blog that helped me http://seriousconsideration.blogspot.com/2009/02/scam-alert-800-921-4557-career-hotline.html
Interesting part is once they charge you the money they wanted.
you will get emails from admin@careerhotline.org saying "Please review these companies to see if you would be interested in a position with any of these companies. I would like for you to really research them and make sure that you feel they would be a good fit for you." also sending list of employers name and address . This same thing continues for months to keep you believing
End of story.
Thanks
